Lafayette Chapter - SLFCPUG Meeting Details

We will normally meet on the last Thursday of each month, and we are still trying to confirm our sponsorship commitments at this time. We expect to see a good turn out in Lafayette. Check back for updates as this new Lafayette group develops!

Inaugural Meeting!
May will bring the very first meeting of our brand spanking new Lafayette Chapter! We hope to see a great turn out, and build a wonderful resource for the Lafayette are just as we have for the New Orleans area. Our goal for having two chapters is to provide this invaluable resource to as much of South Louisiana as we can, from Lake Charles to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

May Meeting Preview
* We start promptly at 6pm on the dot with general announcements and our monthly Quick Tip.
* Ben Balser will keynote with an introduction to SLFCPUG, it's history, how the Lafayette Chapter got started, how the meetings are organized, and what members can expect.
* Video iChat welcomes from a local Apple rep, and reps from the New Orleans Chapter.
* A few shorts by New Orleans and Lafayette members.
* A quick Final Cut Studio overview, and a Q&A session to address member needs in using FCS or setting up a new system to get started.
* We end with a $1/ticket raffle of some cool software and a couple of good books.
