New Lafayette Chapter!

Who are we? Folks using the applications in, and related to, Apple's Final Cut Studio post production software suit. Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience. We have pros and students, event, commercial, and corporate videographers, independent film makers, broadcasters, educators, and more. There is no membership fee, we enjoy voluntary efforts and donations to support us.

We hold two regular meetings, both are on the last week of each month, unless there is some holiday conflict. With one meeting per each of our sister Chapters, you can always find us easily at either the New Orleans "MSY" Chapter, or Lafayette "LAF" Chapter! See the indivisual Chapter's page for more info.

Our members enjoy benifits such as:

• Networking between friends and profesionals who offer mutual support and opportunities.
• Presentations by one of our resident Apple Certified Trainers, a vendor, or a member with a specialty.
• Member clips for constructive critique, or to just show off.
• Free drawings and raffles for items such as books, software, hardware, and more.
• The new SLFCPUG Network on-line forum!

* We encourage anyone (vendor, organization, or individual) to approach us if interested in giving a presentation, and for other related local organizations to make announcements about their own activities. Just drop us a line!
* We also do iChat video for vendors and presenter who can't make it into town, also!
